Building Professional AI Headshots for Corporate Professionals

Building Professional AI Headshots, We’re Almost Ready

Over the past few months, I’ve been quietly building something I’m genuinely excited about.

We’re now very close to launching Headio, an AI headshot generator designed specifically for corporate professionals, not influencers, not social media avatars, and not novelty images that don’t actually look like you.

As a photographer who has spent years shooting real corporate headshots for real companies, I knew from day one that most AI headshots miss the mark. The lighting feels fake, the skin is too smooth, the clothing looks like costumes, and the likeness just isn’t there.

So instead of rushing something out, I’ve been focused on doing this the right way.

Designing AI Headshots Like a Real Photo Shoot

The biggest difference with professional AI headshots isn’t the technology, it’s the decisions behind it.

Right now, I’m finalizing my ai headshot packages that mirror what I actually shoot in the studio for corporate clients. That means:

  • Clean, realistic studio lighting

  • Natural skin texture, not over-processed faces

  • Wardrobe that real professionals would actually wear

  • Expressions that feel confident, approachable, and believable

Every outfit in our corporate AI headshot packages has been intentionally selected. No gimmicks. No trendy looks you’d never choose in real life. Just modern, professional clothing that works on LinkedIn, company websites, Teams, and Slack.

The end result looks like a polished studio headshot, not an AI experiment.

The Likeness Is Better Than I Ever Expected

If there was one thing I was most worried about, it was likeness.

A professional headshot only works if people recognize you immediately. Friends, coworkers, recruiters — they all know when something feels off.

This is the part that surprised me the most.

After weeks of testing, refining prompts, and adjusting how the system handles faces, skin, and hair, the likeness we’re seeing now is genuinely impressive. These AI generated headshots actually look like the person, not a generic version of them.

That’s the difference between an AI headshot you tolerate and one you’re proud to use.

A Real Team, Not a Faceless AI Tool

Behind the scenes, I’ve got two teams working in parallel right now:

  • A web team building a clean, simple experience from upload to final gallery

  • An AI team fine-tuning the image generation so quality stays consistent

Everyone is working feverishly to get this right before launch. There’s no rush to cut corners. I’d rather launch a little later with something solid than release another AI headshot generator that overpromises and underdelivers.

Who These AI Headshots Are For

Headio is being built for working professionals in corporate environments, including:

  • Executives and leadership teams

  • Consultants and advisors

  • Lawyers, accountants, and finance professionals

  • Architects, engineers, and real estate professionals

  • Anyone who needs a clean, modern, professional headshot

If you’ve ever needed updated headshots but didn’t want to deal with scheduling, logistics, or awkward photo sessions, this is exactly why professional AI headshots make sense.

We’re Almost There

Right now, everything is coming together.

The lighting is dialed in.The wardrobe is locked. The likeness is better than I imagined. The experience is simple and fast.

We’re in the final stretch before launch, and I’m excited to finally share this with the people it’s built for.

If you’re looking for realistic AI headshots that actually feel professional, you won’t have to wait much longer.
